My Cottonmouth gave birth!

So turns out this little lady had a surprise for me!


Overnight she gave birth to 4 seemingly healthy babies...I helped them out of their sacs and they slithered around, I have a new tank thats going to get set up for them, but I cant wait to watch these little guys grow! Here are the pics!





I'm excited! Im going to start feeding them frogs and fish, They are surprisingly large! Theyre about 2x the size of my young copperhead who I caught awhile back!

is this the cottonmouth you cought herping yesterday (sunday), either way congrats they look awsome, now you have a couple of captive born cottonmouths :-)

ahh michael, i still can't believe we now have baby cottonmouths! that was such a good find! and i really can't believe how pretty they are! i've never seen a cottonmouth so pretty! let me know before you let the adults go, i may want to keep them! oh and, tomorrow, herping, 5 o'clockish! call me when you get home.
