Does any one breed the reptiles?
I picked up a Male Boa From Eric
and he has been going at it with my female for a while.
I had a few questions and I was wondering if anyone bred?

What kind of boa? I am not a breeder but, there is some local breeder links on the main page. I have read alot LoL! A friend of mine told me I probably won't ever have any babies because I don't hibernate my snakes. So, I quess cupid will have to do it's thing, if there's ever to be the soft slither of little scales around our home.

I have 2 Red Tail Boas. Do I keep the same feeding schedule as I normally would? Biagalo my Male is doing his job...... I cant tell but there is plenty of tail action. Almost every day. Do I seperate them after a while so he can be by him self so he can rest ? How long do I keep them together? When Do I seperate them? Im sur eI have plenty more but I cant think of them Ill post when I do. This cage is temporay Till I can order a Few Boaphile cages. Here they Are Duece & Bigalo

For the feeding schedule, I usually don't because they tend to refuse food during breeding any way. But if you feel that they may want or need a meal, I would give the female a little smaller than usually. 2. I wouldn't separate them until you notice that he is no longer courting her. Give him a day or two of rest and then reintroduce him. From what I have gathered it is best not to separate them until after her ovulation. Last year I made the mistake of separating my burms too early and my female laid 24 infertile eggs. I pulled the male out after what I thought was her ovulation but it was only her develping follicles. 3. What I would do, and others may have differing opinions, is to wait until the post ovulation shed before you separate them. By the way, those are some beautiful snakes.
