Description Grey or green-grey body, with dark grey markings. They are usually four feet when full grown Climate 75 - 85F during the days, dropping to 60-70F at night. Habitat The great plains rat snake is native to the south central United States and Mexico. It should be housed in a tall terrarium, with hiding areas and some branches for climbing. Feeding Rodents. Notes These are somewhat less popular among pet owners, but are reasonably easy to keep.
