I recently was given a 6 foot amazone tree boa who doesn't want to be aborial - I have many intertwinned branches at all levels in the 3 foot high cage, It spends its time on the bottom of the cage unless I put it on a branch. When I come back, it is back on the bottom. I understand they spend some time on the bottom but I am concerned.

Mine does the same thing. He spends alot of time on the ground. But recently he is hanging on a branch. I dont think you have much to worry about.

I put in fakes plants all over the cage and he's up now. He has about 10 places to hang out with lots of cross-crossing branches at different levels. He like the highest spot.
