Some pictures of a few of my new additions. They are an undescribed Centruroides sp. that is new to the hobby. Hopefully these do well so I can breed them. The pale color form The dark color form

Yeah got them from Brian. They are pretty fragile but I am confident I can keep them going.

2 questions, how venomous are they and what kind of substrate is that? from the pictures it looks like a boneyard of dead crickets..
they look cool. I have a scorpion tattoo that Ive had since I was 16. Ive alwasy been facinated by them, but I would never own them. I got stung by a tiny clear scorpion in san marcos working on a house and I was hospitalized for a week.

I'm not sure how venemous they are as they are a new species to the hobby. Hopefully more will be known about them soon. Centruroides is in the Buthidae family so I would imagine they pack a little bit of a punch. It is peat substrate and it isn't a boneyard lol, just a macro shot. What you see is just parts of the peat really zoomed in on though. I think I fed them once in those enclosures and I am pretty careful to remove any leftovers since they mold pretty quick.
