I'm moving in a few months and i was wondering what ya'll think is the best way to move reptiles without stressing them out. Luckily it's only to Austin so it's not too long of a drive. What is your opinion on the best way to take them with me!
thanks! Jamie:)

Hey jamie, Sorry to hear your leaving Houston but, your welcome always to say with our group. we use tupperware totes with airholes punched in the top, with duck tape to seal the lids on. For High stressed reptiles you might put them in pillow cases or smaller container like deli cups and stack them in totes. For Venomous there is a safety protocol. I will share that if you need it. What kind of reptiles are you moving? Be sure to join us at one of the Austin herp society meetings, Tim Cole is the man in Austin to talk too! They are the best group of people. Tell him Lady Viper sent ya! The next Austin meeting is this weekend. They do have monthly meetings and Tim and Deb have one of the finest and largest facilitys I have ever seen. www.austinherpsociety.org/

haha. Well I have 2 beardies, 4 snakes, a tortoise, 2 crested geckos, and a chameleon. The chameleon seems like the hardest one to move, she is only about 8 months old! I'm not moving until August, but I want to be really prepared because I adore all of these little guys. I will definitely be at the Austin herp meetings, I am really excited! Thank you for your help!
