Where do you shop for your reptiles and supplys in Houston?
What do you think are the top 3 reptile retail stores?

With me being so far north of Houston I'm always looking for a place to buy supplies from. S & S has always been good . I'm always ready to find and visit new stores (yes pam that means a field trip) lol .

Pets A Plenty is my favorite!! the cleanest, most helpful, most knowledgeable! I can't say enough great things about Eric and his staff.
I like S ans S Exotics they have a great selection, but you really need to be experienced before buying herps there. Still it's better than most.
Third, I really don't have one...

The number shop in Houston has to be The Ultimate Reptile Shop(Pets-A-Plenty). It is always clean. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly.
Number two in my opinion is Char's Reptile Shop. She is a nice lady, keeps a clean shop and seems to be very knowledgeable.
Number three is just because of the knowledge is Timo's Pet Store in southeast Houston. He doesn't carry a big selection because there doesn't seem to be a huge demand for it in the area. But he has helped me out countless times over the years. He is a real good guy.

My Fav is Pets A Plenty. Very Helpful Staff!
And Eric is always willing to to answer a question and will try to get you something that they dont have.
S & S is up there well kinda, I was there for approx. 30 min. before I was helped. Good Selction.
Timo's is a great place. Good Guy! Selection could be better but will help you find somehting if he doesnt have it.

My son had his birthday party in the green room a couple of years ago and loved it. Even though he got bit by a Mexican Rosie. And they gave him a Black Mamba shedded skin as a present. Very cool place! Great people! |
