yes i have a question i am planning on moving to Abilene TX and was wondering what the laws on owning hots were to include the western diamondback and maybe what the population of western diamondbacks are in the Abilene area i love rattlesnakes I'm retired air force and plan on spending the rest of my time enjoying my hobby of hot herp keeper thanks for any and all info

Most of the time..not in the city limits...Texas Has no permit system in effect today, but one is scheduled to start in April of next year. I have no information or details yet. West Texas does has Rattlesnake roundups..they are tortured and slaughtered by the hundreds.
