I adopted 2 new Tortoises!

We hosted a reptile exhibit for a county fair this weekend.

We met a really nice lady whose children had lost interest in their pet tortoises. She asked me if I wanted them and I said sure! I figured I have enough turtle friends that whatever kind they where I could find a great home for. I ask if she new what kind they where and she said Russian!!! She was just tired of keeping up with her kids pets and wanted them to have a good home. I was so surprised to see two healthy happy tortoises!

I know alot of yall know when people surrender reptiles, sometimes they are not in the healthiest condition.

We now have two new members of our tortoise family...

I am taking votes on Russian names... Any suggestions??

Oh if anyone keeps Russians and you have some tips please share, this are my first Russians..
