Saved a SandFire.

I got this beauty from a lady who rents houses in Tomball. Someone renting from the lady abandonded the beardie, 2 ferrets, a pit and a rott. I was the lucky one, not the beardie! She is absolutly gorgeous. Shes 19 inches long, and is very healthy. She was left for approx. 2 weeks in this home along with the other animals with no food, or water. The lady that found all of them posted that the beardie needed a good home seeing as she didnt have much room for it. I happend to find the add, called her up and met up with her a few days later.

I have this facination of naming my dragons with mythological names, so her name is Madusa. She is a Sandfire morph, with a very bright orange beard. She looks as if shes at least 2 years old but judging by her nails shes probably close to 3. She has a few black markings but for the most part shes totally yellow. She eats like a pig!! The lady who was keeping her didnt agree with feeding it live food so she was mainly eating salad and pelets, but as soon as I got her home I fed her some crickets. She went CRAZY! She is a great addition to my family! Best thing is shes a rescue, so I know in my heart shes got to be happy. Theres someone who will not only care for her now but love her unconditionally.

I have 3 as of right now. I have 2 (possibly male) 5 month old, and this one. She is so gorgeous!!! Always looking for more though! I want to start a beardie shelter, but I havent made enough contacts. Anyone who knows of a beardie in need of a home to call their own, let me know. Also I need to build some new habitats. Anyone with some knoledge on constructing them, please give me some advise. I know how I want to design them, But dont know what would be safe to use to piece them together.
