No, its dangerous to put smaller dragons in with larger, the larger can kill the smaller and this often happens. Dragons do best alone, and shouldn't be housed together

I disagree with dragons being housed best alone. I have had many grumpy dragons come to me and the minute I put them in with another dragon, they perk up, start being friendly, etc. Dragons are very very social creatures. I do think you should wait until they are about the same length and weight to put them together (Or close to it). It IS dangerous to put dragons together when they are at complete opposite ends of the size spectrum

Agreed, dragons do fine together as long as you are not houseing two males. The need to be the same size and if you do house together. You need to watch for aggression and dominance.

the problem i have seen with housing dragons together is what we see as getting along is actually dominance. when they are climbing on eachother thats NOT being friendly...typically this is discouraged!

If you want to keep them together eventually, you will need to do a trial. Everyone has there own opinion about it, but its not ususally a problem. Just keep your eyes open and watch for aggression. I have always kept them together with no problems.

If you are certain that they are not two males and they are about the same size, then you can put them together.
Males will kill each other; larger beardies can see smaller beardies as prey items.
You can house multiple females together and a single male with multiple females...but they all need to be pretty close to the same size.
You also need to be very careful when putting two beardies together to watch for fighting and food hogging...having two seperate hiding places and food and water places until they are comfortable with each other. Watch for them both eating. Even though you may have two feeding areas, a stressed out beardies may not feel safe enough to eat in the prescence on a bossy or dominant beardie.
Good luck.
