The scenery was amazing. We were in Post, TX when I had a run in with the law due to one of my college buddies who goes to texas tech in lubbock being a complete IDIOT...Not only was I affected, but his actions ruined the trip for me and 2 other friends who decided to come along...it was a situation I would like to forget about. Jamie and I will be going sometime soon so be ready to see some AWESOME rattlers when we go. Once again, sorry

Well at least you were prepared and had a camera! Some friends of mine job had them move out of state. Well their company is paying me very well to keep his place up.
Well yesterday I had finished mowing and did my usual before I left. Walked around making sure all the windows and doors were locked. Walked up to the back door and I saw a skinny object about 10-12" long curled up on the brick. It just appeared totally out of place. Upon closer inspection I found it was a juvenile Great Plains Rat Snake. Friendly little snake didn't musk and didn't act too frantic when I held him for a few minutes.
So at least you had a camera!
