Jamie and I were there, She bought a beautiful little snake, I'll let her tell you about that. Afterwards we were still craving more so we went to pets-a-plenty to check out their venomous display, and all I have to say is WOW. They have a 2 foot Nile Crocodile, and soooooo many hots its insane! Gave me rattlesnake fever. Then after that we wanted to go herping, Jamie spotted a cottonmouth immediately when we got there, then I caught a ribbon snake and a very small broad banded water snake. Today has been pretty awesome...Pics will be here soon.  |

Mike,
I knew you would love Pets A plenty..Eric has been a mentor of ours for awhile now. It the only pet store I have ever seen that correctly cares for their reptiles.
Sounds like yall had a great time....Has always I'll look forward to your pics.
I hope next year, to be able to have a field herp trip to East Texas.... Heck, I hope next year to be able to go to more Expos..
This year has just been to busy for us..

jamie what booth was that at? my brother wants one of thoes but we didnt see any...although doesnt much matter i guess since its over and he doesnt have the money anywho since he bought me my retic at the austin show 2 weeks ago...lol

Don't have any pics, but I got me a couple extra corns for my future breeding project. Got a white phase Reverse Okeetee Corn and a creamsicle from the only reputable corn dealer there.. Don Soderberg at South Mountain Reptiles. That and about 300 frozen feeder's that I was able to obtain for $100 bux!!! Was kinda irrated... Don had a proven male grey banded king for $120bux.. I wanted very badly to obtain this animal and when I walked back to get him, another guy had him in his hand, and my heart sank when I watched him count out 6 crisp $20 bills....
Snakes all around are very happy and have a full stomach!

well i was on the way and my mom calls and tells me to get my but home so..... i ended up baby sitting rather then buying my lil gray band

yea so, the cottonmouth had babies...I woke up this morning and walked outside to say hey to all the snakes, and there were 4 newborn cottonmouths just chillin! They are strikingly beautiful! I am making a thread about em with pics in the venomous forum!

style23.. sorry i don't know your real name... but i'm not sure which booth it was at, but the guy sold my grey band to me for cheap because he couldn't get it to eat. i got lucky, because she ate today for me.. well, because i force fed her, which wasn't particularly fun. the booth was in the back corner though. congrats on the retic! is it still a baby?

We bought 2 Borneos Sunday but today one of them died while we were at work. My son called me when he got home from school. She was curled up on her back. We only got her 4 days ago. The other one seems to be okay. I can't tell what killed her. Both girls were fine last night.
The breeder never gave us a receipt or card. When we you walked in the door there's a wall all the way to the left. He was the first one one this left wall. He had our two Borneo girl babies along with at least one more. He also had a baby blood and a full grown Borneo.
If anyone has any contact information on this breeder, please help me out. Not only are we out the money but I was already falling in love with this little girl!

im sry to hear that, i think i saw the big boreno, but i dont remember the name, i think he ETHS webiste had a list of the vendors maybe u could look at it and see if one of them rings a bell

Yes, I've been to the website. I didn't recognize the name but then we went to every booth at the show. I emailed all three guys from ETHS but have gotten no response yet.
