One of my biggest rants are people that express opinions on very important topics like venomoids and don't do any research. some are ignorant and some are so selfish they refuse to do the research so they can do what they want without feeling guilty.

I have another rant......people who purchase (innocently enough) large and gaint breeds of snakes, tortoises and monitors...keep them for the growing years of the reptiles life..enjoy the fun part of showing off then..think they can just donate to a zoo or set it free when it gets to be to big.
Even worse..that poor animal gets on an ad FREE TO GOOD HOME..then used for pit bull fighting bait or ends up on a buffet dinner table (yes, people eat snakes, tortoises and monitors) or ends up with any ding dong back woods bubba but brain who thinks it might be cool and the poor reptile suffers a horrible death from improper care.
In my point of view that reptile did it's job...it gave you the growing years of it's life..you had fun showing off..you enoyed the easy part..now that poor reptile is dependant on you to keep it alive and safe ............I wish people would think about the future...I know things happen and I pray nothing ever happens that would force me to rehome my pets but some people just don't think and worse don't care.
